Purses

Started to make some coin purses over the weekend.  Why is it so hard to find a boys purse?  Lots of girly things about but nothing suitable for a boy and his lunch money.  So project purses!  Got three done now, couple in fabric and probably my favourite a chunky knitted one :)  Wee trip to get some 'boys' fabric and i'll be able to get some little lunch money purses done, something just big enough to take a some coins and them scrunch up in their pockets - maybe that way they'll bring them home and not loose it!!

Also managed a trip over the weekend to get some more fabric for bags and aprons.  The craft fair in Insch is getting close, the time just seems to be running in, so more bags, aprons, purses and various other things on my list to get done this week.  Hope you have a good one x

More bags x

If only we could have an extra couple of days in the week - they would need to be school/working days! - then I could get more stuff made.  My head is swimming with ideas of things to make I'm even dreaming about fabric!!!  Anyway got some bags finished this afternoon, a few for sale and a couple of orders completed.  There is one major problem with me making bags - i want to keep some of them.  I am loving the Russian Doll flat bottom bag, the pink Russian Doll bag with the wee button and my absolute favourite this time is the Envelope Bag - I will definately be making one of this style for me soon.  Got another couple of bags to finish tomorrow then I am looking forward to getting back to some crochet over the weekend.

Its started!

I have finally taken the plunge and started selling my handmade things.  I am still finding it hard to believe the response i have had this week with orders and with the comments people have made - thank you. 

I am busy making things for a craft fair in Insch at the end of October and also making up the orders I have had this week.  Just wish there were a couple more hours in the day!

Heres a picture of my favourite bag at the moment [although i did get some lovely new fabric in the post on Friday] its just the right size to take all you bits and the handles are a length where you can put it on your shoulder or carry it in you hands, I am using one very similar to this just now and loving it  x
